Castlemaine Art Museum is located on Dja Dja Wurrung Country in the foothills of Mt Leanganook and hosts a unique collection of Australian art and historical artefacts reflecting the early history of the district. CAM has a strong focus on living Australian artists and artists based in central Victoria.

To complement the 2022 Melbourne Art Book Fair, CAM is hosting a two-day regional art book fair held on the gallery terrace and inside the beautiful 1931 art deco building. From 10am-4pm across two days, CAM will host stalls showcasing work by central Victorian artists, writers, and publishers, and two afternoon panel discussions on creating and publishing in the regions.
